The Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers volleyball team continues to take care of business as they head for a collision course with Westlake and Lake Travis ahead.

The Dripping Springs swim team got their 6A debut season underway by traveling to College Station to participate in a meet against A&M Consolidated High School.

The Dripping Springs High School cross country teams entered the Marble Falls Leo Manzano Invitational meet as their final tuneup for the district meet.

As expected, Austin’s Akins High School would not be able to put up any resistance on either side of the ball. Also as expected, the Dripping Springs High School starters would not see much action either.

The second round of district play is now underway with the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers back to taking care of business.

“Always looking ahead and planning for the future,” could be the motto for the Dripping Springs High School cross country teams.

With the way the Tigers have performed over the first half of their season, there should be little doubt they are primed to contend for a title run in District 26-6A.

Bring on the homecoming games. The Dripping Springs High School Tigers are certainly ready for them.

Progress has been good as the Dripping Springs cross country teams have consistently challenged for the top spots in all of their meets — with cooperating weather helping to lower their times.

Things were going smoothly for the Dripping Springs High School volleyball team when a pothole jumped up and ruined their day.

Homecoming games always put a little consternation in coaches' game plans.

One of the expected tough district opponents for the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers is the Westlake Lady Chaparrals.
