Popular pizza chain moves into Dripping Springs
Popular pizza chain moves into Dripping Springs

Texas-based restaurant chain Mr Gatti's Pizza has announced the opening of its first location in Dripping Springs. Dripping Springs residents will now be able to enjoy the convenience of take-out and delivery service from Mr Gatti’s, including the chain’s signature pizza, pizza rolls and ranch dressing. This location — situated at 136 Drifting Wind Run — is managed and owned by Gatti's ATX, LLC, a local company formed to operate Mr. Gatti's locations in Austin and surrounding areas. This company currently owns six other locations. “We are expanding into new markets where we have not previously had a presence in order to share the unique taste of Mr Gatti's Pizza with even more people,” said Bill Boone, CEO of Gatti's ATX, who has been with the company for over 50 years. “As longtime fans of the brand, we are proud to share our passion for making delicious pizza and delivering exceptional service to the Dripping Springs community.” Founder James Eure opened “The Pizza Place” in September 1964 in Stephenville. In 1969, he moved to Austin and opened the first “Mr Gatti’s Pizza” as a tribute to his wife’s maiden name. Over the years, Mr. Gatti’s has continued to grow and expand to over 70 locations across the greater part of the southeastern United States. All of Mr. Gatti’s locations, according to their website, center their signature pizzas around four elements: real, 100% provolone cheese, yeastrisen dough made fresh in store, tangy pizza sauce and fresh toppings.
