The first-ever 'One Water in the Texas Hill Country' conference, a landmark event dedicated to sustainable water practices and conservation in the picturesque Texas Hill Country, was held in Boerne on Thursday, Oct. 26.

New sidewalks, bikeways and other types of infrastructure will help improve safety and enhance quality of life in many Texas communities including San Marcos, Wimberley and Dripping Springs, following the announcement that the Texas Transportation Commission has approved more than $345 million for projects across the state.

With the holidays now on the horizon, police are urging people to be on their guard for the type of attempted theft that occurred in Hays County on Oct. 26.
