DSHS student-athletes sign letters of intent

Five Dripping Springs High School student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent this week to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.

Below is information on each of the signees.

Noah Chomout, Lacrosse, Ohio Northern University Noah Chomout is a four-year member of the Dripping Springs High School lacrosse team, playing longstick midfielder and defender for the Tigers. As a senior, he has served as team captain while guiding the squad to a 12-5 record so far this season. Chomout has anchored the Dripping Springs defense this season while scoring multiple goals on four occasions. He earned the team’s Mark Tressler Leadership Award as a sophomore. He is the son of Christine and John Chomout. Coach: Bill Cafferata.

Nolan Dahl, Football, Navarro College Nolan Dahl was a two-year linebacker for the Tiger football team, helping Dripping Springs to a 23-5 record and back-toback regional final appearances. As a senior, Dahl ranked fourth for the Tigers with 59 tackles, including 25 solo stops, and a teamhigh four interceptions to earn First Team All-District honors. He is the son of Staci and Jeffrey Dahl. Coach: Galen Zimmerman.

Harlan Jack, Wrestling, Friends University (Kansas) The first college commit for the girls’ wrestling program, Harlan Jack was a three-time regional qualifier and 2024 state qualifier for the Tigers. As a senior, she advanced to the state quarterfinals in the 145-pound weight class after capturing the District 14-6A title and finishing runnerup at the Region IV6A Championship. In 2024, she set singleseason school records with 46 wins, 40 pins and 296 points. She also holds career records for winning percentage (.771), wins (111-33), pins (86), team points (636) and tournament victories (7). Jack was also a member of the 2022 team that captured the first district wrestling title for the girls’ program. She is the daughter of Anya Whaley. Coach: Joe Kirksey.

Avrey Keim, Volleyball, University of Colorado - Colorado Springs Avrey Keim was a two-year letterwinner for the Tiger volleyball program and a member of the 2022 UIL 6A State Championship team. As a senior, she registered 71 kills, 165 digs and 25 aces to help the Tigers to a 48-7 record and an appearance in the regional finals. She is the daughter of Danyale and Ryan Keim. Noah Lambie, Football, Texas Lutheran University Noah Lambie was a cornerback for the Tiger football team, earning Second Team All-District honors after recording 28 tackles and four interceptions for the Dripping Springs defense in 2023. He helped the Tigers to a secondstraight regional final appearance with an 11-3 season record. He is the son of Sarah and Scott Lambie. Coach: Galen Zimmerman.
