Eloise “Kay” Stuessel Nixon
College and later earned a Masters of Education from Southwest Texas State University. She worked with many children in the Austin and Round Rock School Districts. Her dedication to the field of Special Ed led to many children learning to read. She was known as the teacher that could help children when others could not.
She was a member of Bannockburn Church in Dripping Springs, TX. She enjoyed spending time with her bible study
She is survived by her husband Clifford; sister Sandra Vinklarek; daugh ter Leslie Miller and hus band Joel; grand-daughters Madison Miller, Miranda Miller Morris and husband Cody; great grand-daughter Mikayla; son Chris Nixon and wife Rebecca, and grandson Cory; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be Held at 10 a.m. March 26th at Ban nockburn Church, 264 American Way, Dripping Springs, TX 78620. She will be laid to rest at the Hartsville Cemetery in Wallis TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: National Foundation of Infectious Diseases, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Founda tion, MD Anderson Can cer Center, or a gift to Bannockburn Church in Dripping Springs under Kay’s name.
