The Hays County Environmental Task Force led by the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, in conjunction with the Capital Area Council of Governments, held a Tire Collection Event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m on May 4 at 2171 Yarrington Road in Kyle.
The Hays County Parks Department announced that Jacob’s Well Natural Area is suspending its 2024 summer swimming season until further notice. The summer swimming season, which typically extends from May 1 through Sept. 30 of each year, will be suspended due to belowaverage spring flow and water levels. Hays County officials plan to re-evaluate water conditions monthly to determine whether swimming might become possible at a later date.
On April 30, the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce held a ribboncutting ceremony to celebrate the new location of Therapy Adventures, a pediatric speech, feeding and occupational therapy practice located in the heart of Dripping Springs off RR 12.
