Chicken Express celebrates new owner Eric Hamilton

For many years, Chicken Express has been the go-to spot for local comfort food, especially its fried chicken and fish. Now, the popular business is buzzing with new energy under the ownership of Eric Hamilton, who was welcomed at a Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 23.

Hamilton said he is dedicated to stirring in fresh vibes while keeping the classic flavors that locals love. Part of a family that owns several Chicken Express locations across Texas, Hamilton knows his way around the restaurant’s traditions and values. At the Dripping Springs outlet, he’s maintaining the high standards of food quality and freshness but adding a personal touch to the atmosphere and customer experience.

“The restaurant itself is getting a subtle facelift—nothing too drastic, just enough to make it feel even more welcoming,” said Hamilton. “It’s the perfect spot for a family meal, a quick lunch or a casual hangout with friends.”

Hamilton is also diving deep into local life by sponsoring sports teams and community events, helping to tighten community bonds.

“I truly believe that Chicken Express isn’t just about great food,” he explained. “It’s about being a key part of the community.”

Chicken Express is located at 230 U.S. Highway 290 in Dripping Springs. It’s open daily from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.
