YMCA COMMUNITY RESOURCE FAIR
The Springs Family YMCA, in partnership with the Dripping Springs Community Foundation and Methodist Healthcare Ministries, will hosted a Community Resource Fair last weekend. The fair provided fair attendees with information on a variety of community resources ranging from financial assistance for utilities and household bills, to job searches, to health services. Chris Marcum and Judy Carter, Board Members of the Dripping Springs Community Foundation manned a table at the fair.
The DS Community Foundation serves as a resource for donors and for local nonprofit organizations by encouraging and facilitating philanthropic gifts and delivering grants, training, support and visibility to community support organizations.

Representing their organizations at the fair were- David Edwards for the Dripping Springs Hometown Missions
YMCA Membership Coordinator Pat Surguy, who organized the fair; and Becky Edwards, President of the Dripping Springs Womens Club.

Bryce Crane, a 2017 graduate of Dripping Springs High School, manned the Team Luk3 Table. After a severe injury while mountain back riding, Crane benefited from Team Luk3.

Sharon Bennett, a Board Member of Thundering PAWS, hosted the Thundering PAWS table. Thundering PAWS adoptable animals are carried weekly by the Century News.
