Camp Lucy, the 289acre Hill Country resort, is inviting visitors in the midst of wedding planning to “Sip, See, Experience” what their special day could be like at the multi-venue property.
The “Sip, See, Experience” event will be held at the property on Saturday, Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Coming off of the height of holiday engagement season, the event will include opportunities to explore all of Camp Lucy venues, meet local wedding vendors, get a sneak peek of the property’s event capabilities and indulge in specially- crafted bites and beverages from Executive Chef Meredith Shaffer her culinary team. Guests will also have an opportunity to win special booking incentives.
The tour will begin at the foot of Camp Lucy at Whit’s Inn, a rustic space that likens itself to the iconic dance halls of the surrounding Hill Country, complete with a sprawling outdoor patio overlooking Onion Creek. Continuing uphill towards the central grounds, visitors will tour Ian’s Chapel, which features a restored 19thcentury French colonial chapel and antique bell from Vietnam, as well as an open-air timber pavilion. Additional stops include Sacred Oaks with its intimate oak tree grove, spacious lawn and dramatic timber-framed Great Hall and Stedman Hall, a multi-function venue that offers the perfect space for a rehearsal or reception dinner.
To further enhance the wedding experience, each venue will be fully decorated in a variety of themes by Whim Hospitality, offering an exclusive first look at the company’s newest rental items, including chairs, linens, bars and lounge furniture. There will also be stunning floral arrangements throughout each of Camp Lucy’s venues to showcase the full-service event capabilities.
