Noble Tutoring and Prep celebrated its ribbon-cutting Grand Opening at its new location at 12020 W Hwy 290 last week.
Sponsored by the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce, the festivities took place at the Blue House located on the northwest corner of US Highway 290 and Nutty Brown Road. The event was catered by Satellite with high-quality appetizers, cake and refreshments of all varieties.
Noble Tutoring and Prep was founded by Kathy Noble in 2018, with the first classroom based out of her home. According to Noble, she was an “engineer gone teacher” before opening NTP, teaching all math subjects as well as engineering in school districts around Austin, including Dripping Springs ISD. She also was a professor at the University of Texas, teaching teachers STEM: science, technology, engineering and math.
Over the last few years, NTP has grown rapidly, moving locations several times and, each time, gaining more space. Its new location features three classrooms, a cozy parent and student waiting area and coffee station. NTP currently tutors all math levels kindergarten through college, including SAT/ACT prep, elementary level science, reading/English. NTP will soon be expanding in upper level English and all levels of Spanish.
“What sets Noble Tutoring and Prep apart from other tutoring centers?” Noble asked. “NTP is local, with a small town feel. Each classroom offers a coziness with calm lighting and chill music in the background, very conducive to learning without the feel of a school classroom, equipped with bluetooth TV monitors, printers and whiteboards large and small.”
“Currently, NTP has four certified teachers that are part of our family,” she continued.
They care about their students, getting to know them personally and developing relationships, many times for years to come. Private and small group tutoring is offered. The groups are, at most, four students, which allows for individualized attention, fun collaboration and, sometimes, new friendships among our students.”
