The Dripping Springs Women’s Club recently hosted their highly anticipated Holiday High Tea at Dripping Springs Distilling’s Distillers Hall.
Over 130 women who live and work in Dripping Springs dawned their fascinators for a lively lunch, kicking off the holiday season on Wednesday, Nov. 16. The Holiday High Tea featured decorated tables designed by Women’s Club members, a delectable menu and a hands-on specialty drink demonstration from Kristi Quick of Dripping Springs Distilling and Stephanie Houston, co-founder of Island Getaway Rum (formerly known as Hye Rum).
Non-profit giving trees were on display supporting Helping Hands of Dripping Springs, Heart of Texas Pregnancy Center, Hays Caldwell Women’s Center and Foster Village. Business sponsors this month included The Rural Home, Destination Dripping Springs, OPTAS, Texas National Title and Brenham House Collection.
“We were so excited to once again hold our annual festive holiday luncheon, sip on specialty cocktails, and give our attendees an opportunity to support local nonprofits,” says Janice Englehart, board president of the Dripping Springs Women’s Club. “This event is always a favorite of our members and helps support our mission to provide scholarships to female high school students living within the boundaries of the Dripping Springs Independent School District.”
