Dripping Springs is hosting its annual wedding showcase once again, inviting couples, wedding parties and families to discover the Wedding Capital of Texas® at Dripping Springs Distilling’s Distiller’s Hall.

The city of Dripping Springs was officially designated as the wedding capital of Texas by the Texas Legislature in 2015 for its large number of weddings and wedding venues. With 36 wedding venues in a 17-mile radius, the area hosts over 4,000 weddings annually, according to Sherrie Parks, former executive director of the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce. Its Wedding Capital of Texas® Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 30, presents a twist on the traditional bridal extravaganza.

The showcase has two main components: meeting vendors and touring venues.

Couples and their wedding parties will have the chance to connect with vendors one-on-one from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vendor options include photographers, videographers, florists, caterers, venues, bakers, dressmakers, tailors and more.

From noon to 4 p.m., visitors will be able to embark on open tours all around the Dripping Springs area. Guests will have opportunities to visit locations like venues and lodging properties, with no appointments needed.

Tickets are free, but registration is required. For more information, visit weddingcapitaloftexas. org or email info@ destinationdrippingsprings.com.
