Lady Tigers volleyball takes home big win

One of the expected tough district opponents for the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers is the Westlake Lady Chaparrals.

One of the expected tough district opponents for the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tigers is the Westlake Lady Chaparrals.

The Chaparrals have been a perennial playoff team for many years. To make matters worse for the Lady Tigers, the game was away, forcing them to face a boisterous home crowd. But no big deal for Dripping Springs; they quieted the crowd with a 3-0 victory to remain atop the heap in 26-6A.

Left to be played in the first round will be Lake Travis.

In a non-district matchup, DSHS shutout New Braunfels 3-0. This leaves the 16th-ranked Lady Tigers with a 5-0 district record and 28-9 season.
