Dripping Springs High School has announced the 2022 Homecoming Court. Seniors nominated for queen are Jesse Bookbinder, Emory Costello, Presley Dotson, Aibha Jennings, Rylie Jensen and Kate Tressler. King nominees are Ian Jones, Carter Larsen, James Lee and True Noonan Lamb.
The freshman duke and duchess are Miller Cochran and Callie Lindner, the sophomore honorees are Jackson Hollis and Vivian Gomez, and the junior duke and duchess are Jandre Van Der Walt and Gracie Kirk.
The Homecoming king and queen will be announced during halftime of the football game on Friday, Sept. 16, against Austin High at Tiger Stadium. Prior to the game, the underclass dukes and duchesses will be recognized at 7:05 p.m. Kick-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
A Homecoming parade will be held around Dripping Springs High School at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, followed by a community pep rally at 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. A carnival, beginning at 7 p.m. in the E lot (north of Tiger Stadium), will conclude the night’s festivities.
Community members attending the parade must arrive before 5:50 p.m. as the DSHS campus will be closed to traffic until after the parade has concluded.
