The Link Fitness Center is officially running classes in Dripping Springs, as celebrated on Sept. 7 with a ribbon cutting co-sponsored by the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce.
The Link offers a variety of programs, including CrossFit, kids fitness classes for all ages and personal training. In addition to group classes, The Link offers open gym memberships and all members have 24-hour access to the gym seven days a week, 365 days a year.
“Our facility is filled with all new equipment and has showers and ample airflow to keep working out tolerable during hot summer months,” owner and coach Elwyn Hutter said. “Located in our building is Wellsport Austin, a physical therapy clinic that will provide one-on-one treatment, including physical therapy and massage therapy. This makes The Link a place where you can truly address all your fitness needs.”
The Link also has the Next Level program, a strength and conditioning program designed to give middle and high school athletes the strength edge they need to reach the highest levels of their sport.
“Equal to the mission of unlocking each of our members' physical potential is the goal of providing a comfortable and welcoming community,” Hutter continued. “The relationships built at the gym extend well beyond just working out and become lifelong friendships. Ultimately, each person's journey to better fitness is their own.”
After 10 years of gym ownership in New York and — most recently — as part owner of 3rd Element Fitness in Oak Hill, owner and coach Elwyn Hutter said he believes it is most important to respect where each individual is on that journey and help move them forward.
“Becoming more fit as you grow older is possible, and it is a great feeling,” he added.
