William Harold Bond DDS, 80, died on August 5th 2022 in his home in Cypress Mill, TX. He was a loving husband, an indulgent father, a doting grandfather, a faithful caregiver, and a zen Buddhist.

Bill was born in Wellington Kansas on Oct 24, 1941, to Revered Harold John Bond and Elizabeth Maxine Bond.

He married Elizabeth Ann Kocher on December 23, 1962, in Decatur, Indiana. Both Bill and his wife Ann were graduates of Decatur High School, class of 1959, and Indiana University (Bloomington). Bill went on to graduate from Indiana University Dental School and after serving as a dental officer in the US Navy he moved to Boston and worked for the Veterans Administration. He earned a postgraduate degree in Prosthodontics from Harvard University and remained with the VA throughout his career. Bill lived a richly fulfilling life, enjoyed a long and well-earned retirement in his beloved hill country, and left it all on the field. We will miss his good humor, his wise advice, and the gleam in his eye when mischief was afoot. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ann, and his sister Barbara Norman. He is survived by his son Andrew Bond (Echo), and his daughter Jane Bond; his grandchildren Bennett, Griffin, William, and Maxine; and his brother, John Bond DDS.
