Dripping Springs has found the volleyball world in 6A to be very little different from their stay in other classifications.
There are schools that provide little competition and then a couple you have to be prepared for. The Lady Tigers have breezed through their first four opponents in district play and are now bracing for the stretch that includes their most serious competition in the form of Lake Travis and Westlake High Schools. There does not appear to be any question as to reaching the playoffs, only who will reign as district champs.
Their latest two matches were 3-0 wins over Austin Anderson and Akins to advance their district record to 4-0 and 26-9 for the season.
