Additional fall festivals and fundraisers for local nonprofits

Revue Gala: Saturday, Sept. 10

Join the Austin Zoological Society at the Austin Zoo from 6 to 10 p.m. for their biggest fundraiser of the year. The evening will include a live and silent auction, a zookeeper talk, locallysourced libations and more, all to benefit the animals at Austin Zoo.

Women in Mission Artisan Market: Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17–18 Benefiting the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church, the market will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the main church building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. Shop for handcrafted soaps, homemade jellies and jams, plants, jewelry, baked goods and more.

Farkle Friday: Friday, Sept. 30

Join the Knights of Columbus for a night of fun benefiting the St. Martin de Porres parish ministries. The event will feature a Farkle tournament, which will run from 6 to 9 p.m. in the parish hall.

Sporting Clays Shoot: Saturday, Oct. 8

Hays and Travis County veterans are invited to meet and compete in a Sporting Clays Shoot at Hog Heaven Sporting Club from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., benefitting Patriots' Hall of Dripping Springs.

Schoolhouse Scramble: Thursday, Oct. 20

Help the Dripping Springs Education Foundation raise funds for Dripping Springs ISD grants and programs by participating (or sponsoring) a golf event at Falconhead Golf Club. Lunch is provided, and registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

OctoberFest: Sunday, Oct. 23

Stop by the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a familyfriendly fall festival benefitting parish ministries. The event will feature music, games, a petting zoo, food, vendors and auctions.

Zach Young Memorial Poker Drive and Fall Family Fest: Sunday, Oct. 30

Join RED Arena for a Poker Drive through Dripping Springs in honor of Zach, son of RED Arena founders Jen and Dave Young. The event will run throughout the morning and will be followed by a fall festival at the arena from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will include a BBQ lunch, free kids games, a petting zoo and pumpkin painting with performances by RED Arena's Drill Team.

Mighty Texas Dog Walk: Sunday, Nov. 13 The 22nd annual dog walk will take place this year at the Camp Mabry Parade Grounds in Austin, benefitting Service Dogs, Inc. The event will attempt to break the Guinness World Record of “World’s Largest Coloring Book.”
