Questions for the forums have been prepared for the candidates by the League of Women Voters.

All forums will begin at 7:00 CST. State Senate District 25, State Rep. 45 and State Board of Education will be held on February 2. County Judge, Justices of the Peace Precincts 2 and 5 will be held on February 3. County Commissioners Precincts 2 and 4 will be held on February 9. The events can be viewed live online at lwvhaysco.com on the Candidate Forum page under the Events tab. A recording of the forums will also be made available online at the same location within 24 hours.

Candidate information will be available on VOTE411.org in early February and updated as available.

As part of the LWV of Hays County mission to empower voters, the candidate forums are a valuable resource for voters to fully inform themselves before heading to the vote center. The U.S. Census reports that Hays County experienced the fastest rate of growth, adding over 83K new residents, many of which are eligible voters. The LWV encourages new Hays County voters to attend these local forums to learn of and experience the candidates vying for their votes, however, as always, all voters are urged to attend.
