Dripping Springs ISD Eequitable services posting

Under the Every Student Succeeds Act, local educational agencies that receive federal funds are required to provide equitable services for eligible private nonprofit school students, teachers and other educational personnel. Services provided by the LEAs for private nonprofit school participants must be designed to meet the educational needs of eligible private nonprofit school students and supplement the educational services provided by private nonprofit schools. After consultation, private nonprofit schools may receive equitable services under Title I  Part A, Title I Part C, Title II, Title III and Title IV Parts A and B. The LEA must spend the funds on behalf of the private schools, and the funds must never be given to the private nonprofit schools.

If you are the authorized official of a private non-profit [must have a 501(3)(c)], contact DSISD Director of Student Services Dr. Rhonda Whitman at [email protected] or (512) 858-3053. An initial equitable-services consultation will be held for eligible private non-profit schools on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. at the DSISD Central Administration Building, 510 West Mercer Street, for eligible private non-profit schools.
