Dripping Springs High School girls’ soccer coach Bailee Perrine has been recognized as a 2021 High School Girls Regional Coach of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches organization.
Perrine is one of just two soccer coaches from the state of Texas to garner this accolade.
Perrine guided the Lady Tigers to the program’s first state championship in 2021 with a 2-1 win over Frisco Wakeland High School in the UIL Class 5A Championship game. Dripping Springs recorded a school-record 27 wins on the season with a 27- 1-1 mark and outscored opponents 97-8 with 25 shutouts on the year.
In May 2021, Perrine was named the Region IV-5A Head Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches. In four seasons with the Tigers, she has compiled an 89-14-6 record.
Dripping Springs, ranked first in the TASCO Region IV-5A preseason poll, began the 2022 season on Monday, Jan. 3, against Steele High School in Cibolo.
