Luxury has come to Dripping Springs in an unexpected way: an RV resort, complete with Super Wifi, electricity and scenic views.
The Fitz RV Resort, located on Fitzhugh Road, was founded this year by long-time Dripping Springs residents: Ashley and Boogie Wittenburg and Jill and Denver Fredenburg. The resort provides a high-end, luxury experience for all types of RV’ers with fully paved roads, level sites and 24-hour surveillance. To commemorate their opening, The Fitz co-hosted a ribbon cutting with the Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce at noon on April 29, followed later that evening with a grand opening celebration.
“Sunsets and Slowdowns is what The Fitz RV Resort is all about, helping folks discover the beautiful Texas Hill Country and all that Dripping Springs has to offer,” Denver Fredenburg said. “Whether you have a 40 foot diesel pusher or a 15 foot mini camper, we have a space for you. From fully paved drive through sites to smaller sites, we can accommodate RV enthusiasts of all types.”
“Every site has 30 and 50 amp power and full water and sewer hookups,” Fredenburg said. “We will soon have a propane plant as well for your refills.”
The Fitz is close to many area attractions, from Pedernales State Park to breweries, wineries, and food establishments. For its guests, The Fitz has a tab at The Pedernales Trading Post and at 12 Fox Brewery.
“Something that sets the Fitz apart from others is our Super WiFi for those that want to continue to work remotely as well as those that want to stream the latest movies and shows,” Fredenburg said. “The community center offers self-serve coffee, high-end bathrooms and showers and a 24-hour laundromat.”
The site also features a large dog park for guests’ convenience.
“‘Sunsets and Slowdowns’ is our motto because The Fitz has some of the best sunset viewing around,” Fredenburg said. “The West side is bathed in beautiful sunsets while the east side overlooks a lush valley and welcomes the sunrise. We look forward to hosting you or your friends and welcome you to slow down and see The Fitz for yourself.”
