Mixed duo nets bronze at State

The Dripping Springs mixed doubles tennis team of Whitney Robbins and Lexian Andrushko took their talents all the way to state. In the quarterfinal round they met up with Rachana Hari and Vincent Rivas of Katy Jordan. The 6-0, 6-1 victory advanced them to the state semifinals against Hattie Berend and Steven Lee of Wichita Falls where they were stopped 6-3, 6-1. That made them the Bronze medal winners. Whitney was the veteran with three state appearances while this was Lexian's first.
