DS track members head to regionals

The Dripping Springs area track qualifiers made their way to Georgetown to compete with District

25-6A for the right to compete in the regional meet in San Antonio on April 18-19. The top four places in each event qualifies. The Tigers qualified in four events and the Lady Tigers one along with three school records being set. The boys scored 45 points good for fifth place and the girls four points.

Izzy Crew, a member of the U.S. Paralympic Track & Field Emerging Team, qualified for regionals in the 100 and 400 meters and the shot put.

The mile relay team of Maddox Maher, Micheal Mendoza (standing), Cooper Reid and Jackson Mills finished fourth and advanced to regionals for the second year.
