Lakota Water Company honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

On Feb. 27, Lakota Water Company was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 Pioneer Water Tanks Conference in Wimberley.

The award was presented to founders and owners, Amy and Alan Rossing. This recognition highlights Lakota’s longstanding commitment to providing top-tier water storage solutions and exceptional customer service.

Lakota Water Company installed its first rainwater collection system in 2000 and officially incorporated in 2002. Founded in Dripping Springs, the company has since expanded, with an additional warehouse and offices in Blanco. Lakota’s mission is to ensure reliable water access for homes, businesses, and agricultural operations.

“It’s been fun working with everyone over the years—from our great suppliers, to tank manufacturers, to all our colleagues in the industry, who also pride themselves on delivering quality rainwater collection services, both here in Central Texas and all around the world,” Alan Rossing said. “I feel very grateful and humbled.”
