On Mar. 3, Dripping Springs ISD will open up new student registration for the 2025-2026 school year. The online system will open up at 3 p.m.

Parents who are unsure which school their child will attend can use the Address Look-Up feature on the district website at www. dsisdtx.us. There have been zoning changes due to the expansion at Sycamore Springs Middle School and the opening of the new Wildwood Springs Elementary.

Specific steps for registering a new student vary depending on a family's situation - if they currently have another student enrolled in DSISD, are returning to DSISD, or have never had a student at DSISD. Additional details are available on the website.

There are three basic registration steps.

Enroll online – Parents or guardians use the online system to fill out registration information for any stu- dent who is new to the district.

Document submission – After the online process is complete, the campus registrar will email parents or guardians and set up an appointment to visit the student's new campus and submit required documents. Once the campus has received the necessary documents, the enrollment process is complete. Required documents include proof of residence, parent or guardian photo identification, student birth certificate, student social security cart, and immunization records or waivers. If a student is transferring from another school, required documents include a withdrawal form from the previous school, a recent transcript or report card, and standardized test scores.

Annual enrollment verification – Student information verification is an annual process for all students - new, current and returning. It allows parents and guardians to check and update contact, emergency, and health information and to complete required yearly forms online.

In addition to its K-12 classes, DSISD offers a state-mandated and tuition-based prekindergarten program at each of the district's elementary campuses for children who are 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of that school year. This is a lotterybased system. To participate, families must complete the online registration, parent agreement form and pay the $50 nonrefundable registration fee by Mar. 28.

More details on new student registration can be found at www. dsisdtx.us.
