It might have been cold outside but at the state meet swimming pool, the Lady Tigers were scalding hot as they placed sixth with 110 points, set seven school records, one state meet record and two state champion events.

Grace Rabb became a state champion in the 200 IM and 100 Back, setting the state meet record in the 200 IM. She also swam on the 400 Free Relay, was named Swimmer of the Year and All-American.

The 200 Medley Relay was DQ'd in the prelims or the final standings would have been higher. The boys were not able to reach the finals in their two events. The boys time in the 200 free relay at regional was good enough for All-American consideration. Likewise the girls 500 Free and 200 Free Relay received All-American consideration. The 400 Free Relay also earned All American honors. Girls results: 100 Back: 1. Rabb 53.01*; 200 IM: 1. Rabb 1.56.46*; 500 Free: 7. Laurel Hoskovec 4.58.19*; 200 Free Relay: 200 Free Relay: 5. 1.35.81* (Macie Mc-Curry, Fairlane Bynum, Lexi Landrum, Hoskovec); 400 Free Relay: 4. 3.26.59* (McCurry, Hoskovec, Landrum, Rabb).
