Having to encounter all types of inclement weather, the Lady Tigers got their season started with a 4-1-1 week. They opened with Hays Johnson and it was called after nine innings tied at 14-14. Next they entered the Comal Wurstfest tourney. They held off Hays High in six innings 7-6. It took only three innings to take Hays Lehman 11-1. Plano West was beaten 11-5 in 3. Summer Creek took three to put the first loss on the Lady Tigers 11-2. DS finished the tourney with a 11-0 shutout in three over Elgin.
