Hays County Livestock Show Jan 18 through 26 The Hays County Livestock Expo Show kicks into high gear on Saturday, Jan. 18 with the Buyer’s Gala from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The livestock show has various events every day through Jan. 26 including showing projects for Ag mechanics and Homeskills and showing rabbits, goats, lambs, sheep, swine cattle and poultry. Film Screening & Panel Discussion ‘Common Ground’ Jan 25 • 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The film Common Ground from the filmmakers Kiss the Ground (Netflix) will be screened at Vista Brewing on Jan. 25 with a panel discussion on regenerative agriculture in Central Texas following. Also on hand for the discussion will be the Driftwood Historical Conservation Society, Elder Hill Farms and Songland Farms.

Wedding Capital of Texas Winter Showcase Jan 26 • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dripping Springs is the Wedding Capital of Texas and the Winter Showcase offers couples a chance to meet vendor and plan their weddings all in-person at Allegro Wedding & Event Venue. This wedding Showcase is a different twist on a traditional bridal extravaganza and is open to wedding industry vendors located in and around Dripping Springs.
