DS Wrestlers shine at Iron Tigers meet

The Dripping Springs wrestling team hosted their own special tourney in mid-December. It had a slightly different format in the boys division. Instead, the varsity held a dual tourney which meant school vs school in all divisions. The girls competed in a regular bracket method in their individual weight division.Both boys and girls won their tournaments.

Boys results: DS defeated every school they matched up with. Lake Travis #2 76-6; Westlake 81-0; Anderson 84-0; Keller 5618; Vandegrift 51-12.

DS boys results: 106: Wesley Hatcher 2-3; 117: Isaac Queveda 4-1; 120: Jackson Shipley 5-0; 126: Cole Sides 5-0; 132: Charlie Lundin 5-0; 138: Abel Silverman 5-0; 144 Tucker Lundin 5-0; 150: Drew Clarno 4-1; 157: Gabe Morelas 5-0; 165: Noah Williams 5-0; 175: Caleb Collins 5-0; 190: Daniel Krauss 5-0; 215: Mikkel Bushee 5-0; 285: Davis Tejada 3-2.
