Indiana is a staff favorite at the Paws Shelter of Central Texas Dripping Springs campus but has been looking for his people for over 200 days. Here is what you need to know about this handsome pup: Indiana gives full-body hugs, foes great with dogs, loves water and hiking, knows sit, shake, and come, potty trained, does well in a kennel and sleeps quietly all night in it, has great house manners, loves people and kids ages 10+, has been around livestock and horses and could care less, no cats please, known for getting some serious cases of “wigglebooty”. Indiana does take a little bit of time to warm up to new people preferring women over men, but once you are in his inner circle, you are in. He can’t help that he’s a ladies’ man! We’ve all heard the expression “good things come to those who wait.” Well, the same goes with Indiana. I could very well be your next best pal! I walk nicely on a leash and know all the basic commands, last I checked. I love meeting other dogs, especially playful puppies, but cats weird me out a little bit and I don't like them too much.
Car rides are one of my favorite things, especially the ones leading to the park. I'm happy to get settled in next to you and relax after a good walk and maybe get some belly rubs going because I was a good boy and walked really well. I'm neutered, fully vaccinated, house and crate trained. I might need a crate when you’re not around because I'm a bit of a mischief maker and can get carried away exploring everything in the house and seeing just what all these things really are up close. I'm excited to find my forever family or foster home where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. Can’t wait to meet you!

I love going for walks and am great with other dogs, though I’d really prefer to be by your side. I ride well in the car and am always so joyful and love looking at cars and people going past. I'm a big lap girl and I love being held and will shower you with kisses. I’m a very smart lady and like to follow you around like a little shadow. All in all, I'm a very loving little potato!
