Dripping Springs invited College Station to a 2.5 hour trip to Dripping Springs for a friendly game of basketball. The Tigers treated them to a wellplayed game of defense and offense. Judson Loe and Rushton Budge provided most of the scoring. Coach Acker used most of his players liberally and they kept the heat on the College Station attack with their defensive effort.
It took a couple of game time minutes before points would start being scored. It was 9-6 after one. The Tigers began finding their range in the second quarter and pulled away to a 23-11 advantage at the half. The margin of victory was maintained for the second half as the Tigers ended the third ahead 40-27 and kept the pressure on until the final seconds ticked off.
Loe headed the attack with 19 and Budge followed suit for 15. Aiding the cause were Stone Patterson 8, Brayden Spencer 5, Brady Coleman 5.
