Learning to paint at the library

Deborah Huffman jumps right in with the water colors..

A community library is more than just a place to store books. Learning of all types takes place.

Last week, burgeoning artists gathered at the Dripping Springs Community Library for 'Happy Watercolors,' a creative and relaxing watercolor painting workshop led by Marsha Young.

This workshop, which is held once a month, provided participants with stepby- step guidance, making it accessible for artists of all skill levels.

During the session, attendees worked on a Thanksgiving-themed watercolor painting, perfect for the holiday season. These workshops typically occur around the middle of the month, though specific dates are still being determined for the upcoming year. Those interested in joining this workshop or any of the variety of workshops available visit dscl.org.
