The Dripping Springs High School Tiger Band earned a top-20 finish at the UIL 6A State Marching Contest at the Alamodome in San Antonio last week.
This is the third consecutive year the band has ranked in the top 20 at state.
The Tiger Band tied for 17th out of 40 competing bands from across the state. Dripping Springs earned its highest scores in Music Ensemble and Visual Ensemble, placing 11th in both categories.
The Tiger Band made its seventh consecutive and 19th overall appearance at the UIL State Marching Contest.
