This weekend, one of the most anticipated fall festivals hits downtown Dripping Springs with the 10th annual Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival. The 3-day music festival runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday along Mercer Street in the heart of the Dripping Springs historical district.
More than 40 local and national artists will be in town for this festival which features more than 30 shows a day. Audiences are treated to a wide variety of amazing songs and the people and stories behind them as groups of local, national and international songwriters perform “in-the-round”, Nashville- style. The best part, aside from the amazing tal- ent, is the festival is free. The festival is sponsored by the City of Dripping Springs, through its visitors bureau and business sponsors in the community.
2024 Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival Schedule of Events
Event stages set up as 'listening rooms' are hosted by Dripping Springs’ downtown venues: The Barber Shop Bar, Acopon Brewing Company, Mazama Coffee Company, Hudson’s On Mercer Street, Sidecar Tasting Room, The Courtyard at the Warehouse District, Sidecar Tasting Room, Haus of Jayne and Homespun Kitchen & Bar – all located within safe, easy walking distance of each other in historic downtown Dripping Springs.
Performances run continuously on Friday and Saturday from afternoon to evening, and on Sunday, the festivities include a spirited Gospel Brunch Showcase at Hudson’s on Mercer Street, followed by the ever-popular Festival Wrap-Party. Parking is plentiful, and food and drinks will be available at each venue. Complimentary shuttle service between Venues runs throughout the event.
As part of the 10th anniversary celebration, the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival is unveiling its new logo. The redesigned logo pays homage to the festival’s songwriting roots while embracing a fresh and modern aesthetic.
