The Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival is one of the gems of our community. A Partnership for the People
The Dripping Springs Art League (DSAL) is thrilled and honored to partner with Destination Dripping Springs and the City of Dripping Springs to share the creativity and inspiration of local artwork to downtown Dripping! Such collaboration not only brings music and art together, but also supports hundreds of local artists while providing shopping opportunities to all the festival goers during the weekend.
Relax and shop the DSAL Art Lounge
The Dripping Springs Art League will be the exclusive art vendor of the Songwriters Festival. The DSAL Art Lounge will have a huge offering of local artwork including paintings, jewelry, sculptures, fiber art with special sections featuring music- and Hill Country-related art. Don’t want to schlep your purchases all day? No problem, we’ll hold them for you until you are ready to take them home. The Art Lounge also includes a comfy seating area for a little rest and relaxation. We will be located at the Stephenson Field Stage near the corner of Mercer & Old Fitzhugh Rd.
Join in the Fun
In addition to a wide variety of local art, you can paint a patch of our interactive art project outside the Art Lounge and also visit our Live Artists at the Community Impact Stage at the Warehouse District, the Tejas Tonic Stage at Haus of Jayne and the Hill Country Ranch Dining and Tavern Stage at Sidecar Tasting Room as they capture your favorite artists throughout the weekend. Watch their talents unfold before your eyes!
Summer Art shines this Fall
Earlier this summer many of our artists paired up with Festival songwriters to capture their image to share with you this October. Many will be on display at the Headliner Showcase at Mercer Dance Hall on October 12 th and all will be available for purchase during Festival weekend at the DSAL Art Lounge. What a great opportunity to take home a lasting memento of your Songwriters experience!
