Taxpayer Tuesdays offer Inside Look at school district

Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) held its first 'Taxpayer Tuesday' on Sept. 10, offering the public a chance to learn about the school board's role in overseeing the district.

The 90-minute forum provides an opportunity for parents and community members to learn more about DSISD’s operations, finances, programs, and successes, as well as meet district leaders. Attendees also have the chance to tour a campus and discuss topics relevant to the fast-growing district.

For the 2024-25 school year, DSISD will host two additional Taxpayer Tuesdays in the fall and three in the spring.

For more information and to register, visit dsisdtx.us/ taxpayertuesdays. As DSISD campuses are secure, attendees are asked to arrive 15 minutes early with a government-issued photo ID to obtain a visitor badge.
