Dreamland Dripping Springs held its own Festival of Color this past week, observing Holi Day with Indian street food, Bollywood music and lots of color.

The festival, which took place on March 18, celebrated love, community and the arrival of spring in a traditional Hindu fashion. Participants could purchase and throw colored powders, covering each other with color. Henna tattooing was also available.

Although Holi itself originated and is predominantly celebrated in India, it is annually celebrated by Hindus and non-Hindus worldwide.
