According to unofficial election results, Mary Jane Hetrick, Stefani Reinold and Shanda DeLeon have been elected to threeyear terms on the Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees.
The recently elected trustees were the top three votegetters in the May 4 local election. The DSISD Board of Trustees consists of seven unsalaried district patrons elected to three-year terms to represent all residents in the school district boundary. Dripping Springs ISD trustees do not represent “places.
Hetrick received the most votes with 3,217 to be re-elected to a fourth term. Throughout her nine years of service on the board, she served as president, vice president, liaison to the Dripping Springs ISD Safety Committee and chaired several board committees.
Reinold was reelected to a second term with 2,982 votes.
She served as secretary of the board from May 2022-2023 and as the president of the board since May 2023. She also served as the liaison to the School Health Advisory Council and as a subcommittee member for superintendent evaluation and board operating procedures.
DeLeon was elected to her first term with 2,948 votes. Terri Purdy and John Adams trailed with 2,706 and 2,442 votes respectively.
