Three Dripping Springs High School choirs earned Overall Superior ratings (Sweepstakes) at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation.
The competition took place on March 7–8 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle. The DSHS Varsity Chamber Choir, Varsity Treble Choir and the JV Treble Choir each prepared and memorized three choral pieces to perform before a panel of judges. Each then sang a piece they had not seen before for the sight-reading portion.
Each choir earned a Superior Rating for both concert and sight-reading portions to collect Sweepstakes honors.
