After enduring a 2-hit, 1-0 loss to Hays Johnson in his previous outing, Brandon Arvidson topped his performance with a no-hitter over NB Canyon and a 3-1 victory. He would strike out an other 11 batters and walk four. All the runs came in the third when Nico Ruedas led off with a walk, Aiden Perry had a one-out single, followed by Taylor Tracey's hit that scored Ruedas. Sam Agajanian walked to reload. Wyatt Leschber reached on an error to score Perry. Arvidson was HBP with two outs to force in Tracey.
Prior to that game, the Tigers were entered in the Comal ISD tourney. They would run the gamut of close to one-sided games to carve out a 3-2 record.
In the opener with Canyon Lake Tracey would be the catalyst of the 6-5 win. He had the big bat with three hits, two homeruns including the winner in the top of the seventh. He also pitched the first four innings.
Victoria East made short work of putting down the Tigers 10-5 and allowing only four hits. Max Church took the loss.
SA Brennan was not ready for the massacre. They would fall 26-1, including a school record 18-run second. The formula for that was 7 walks, 2 errors and ten hits. DS got 17 hits in the fourinning game. Tracey got another homerun.
The Tigers scored 10 times in the first three innings enroute to a 12-0 blanking of SA Lee. They racked up another 14 hits, including six doubles. Ryland Mahoney took the win.
SA Churchill got the last word as they outscored the Tigers 18-9. The long ball was on the menu as SA left the field four times and DS got two from Agajanian and Ruedas. Five errors did not help.
