A new resort and spa may be coming to northern Dripping Springs, joining other large, planned developments in the area.
Blue Sage Resort and Spa, as the development has been named, will have 57 cabins, a restaurant and an event space. Construction is expected to begin in about a year — according to a recent state filing — with a projected end date of Dec. 1, 2026, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records.
The boutique resort will also include a pool and wellness center for an overall estimated cost of $14.8 million.
This development is located near another planned resort — Mirasol Springs, which is to have a luxury hotel, cottages, spa and a restaurant. It is also located about two miles east of the proposed 5,000-seat music venue on Fitzhugh Road, which has faced significant pushback from nearby residents due to environmental, safety and traffic concerns.
