After completing their regular schedule, the Dripping Springs High School Lady Tiger volleyball team is deep into defending its state title.

Prior to the playoffs, Coach Kane likes to schedule a top team in the state to prepare them for the tougher teams ahead. This year, it was Highland Park High School: a bruising battle before the Lady Tigers succumbed 2-3. In the playoffs, the Lady Tigers shutout Vista Ridge (bi-district) and Madison (area) High Schools. Last Tuesday night, Dripping Springs began working their way back through district opponents when they played Westlake High School.
