Dripping Springs High School has announced its 2023 Homecoming Court, which will be recognized at the Oct. 6 varsity football game.
Seniors nominated for Homecoming Queen are Kaleigh Howell, Avrey Keim, Ryan Perry, Katie Sahl and Jasmine Zogaib. King nominees are Carter Byrd, Parker Hoffman, Zach Johnson, Luca Picucci and Tomsen Vickery. The freshman duke and duchess are Gray Magby and Talia Alvarado, the sophomore honorees are Jacob Little and Kara Wells, and the junior duke and duchess are Landon Andrews and Katie Newman.
The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime of the football game on Friday, Oct. 6, against Akins High School at Tiger Stadium. Prior to the game, the underclass dukes and duchesses will be recognized at 7:05 p.m. Kick-off is slated for 7:30 p.m.
A Homecoming parade will be held around Dripping Springs High School at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, followed by a community pep rally at 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. A carnival, beginning at 7 p.m. in the G lot (north of Tiger Stadium), will conclude the night’s festivities. Community members attending the parade must arrive before 5:50 p.m. as the DSHS campus will be closed to traffic until after the parade has concluded.
