DSHS Students recognized through National Merit Program

Seven Dripping Springs High School seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program based on their performance on the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Seven Dripping Springs High School seniors have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program based on their performance on the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Earning Commended Student recognition from Dripping Springs High School are Landry Christensen, Zoe Costanza, Michelle Hinojosa, Cooper Lane, Autumn Pape, Alina Popovici and Alexander Seshan.

Each year, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation recognizes 50,000 high scorers out of more than 1.5 million students who took the PSAT/NMSQT. A total of 16,000 students were named National Merit Semifinalists while 34,000 students were selected as Commended Students based on a National Selection Index score of at least 207.
