Dripping Springs ISD has launched an initiative to create a communityinspired strategic plan to chart the course for the district for the next five years.

Parents and community members are encouraged to complete the strategic planning community survey at dsisdtx. us/survey. The survey is open through Friday, October 6. The survey is available in English and Spanish and should take 5-10 minutes to complete.

Stakeholders will be surveyed on what their hopes are for DSISD students, what skills students should possess to be successful, how to measure district success beyond standardized testing and more. Responses are completely confidential and will only be known to the researchers at Resonant Education, the firm conducting the survey.

The district’s strategic plan will include a set of community beliefs, goals, action steps and an ideal learner profile. Additionally, the plan will outline how DSISD will measure student learning and serve as a guide for future decisions regarding instruction, technology, budgeting, staffing and facility planning.
