Merrily, merrily we roll along could well be the Dripping Springs soccer programs theme song. There can be very little to be unhappy about these days. Both the boys and girls teams have turned the corner and are heading home to the district title. They went through the first half undefeated in district play and no indication that will change in the next 3 ½ weeks. Instead of the games getting closer, the two teams keep scoring more and more.
The #1 team in 5A, the Lady Tigers blew out Seguin 8-0 and Kerrville Tivy 7-0. Against Seguin the onslaught came early with 7 goals in the first half. It was 3 in the first half and 4 more in the second with Kerrville. The Tigers were 6-1 and 5-0 victors against the same two. They are ranked in the top ten of the state.
