The Dripping Springs boys soccer story for 2023 is the type of heartwarming season that makes coaches smile.

After losing a number of players to graduation last year, the Tigers were expected to have a down season this year. The expectations initially seemed to come true as they were 1-4-1 in two tourneys and matched that in the first six district games. The team began to put it all together throughout the season and finished 7-3 to make the playoffs. They continued to win until the state fina, garnering their share of the post-season honors.

All-District 26-6A Selections

• Newcomer of the Year: Parker Johnson

• First Team: Mason Russell, York Merril, Nate Warner, Parker Johnson

• Second Team: Joey Svoboda, Aidan Burgess, Connor Knapp

• Honorable Mention: Eduar Miranda, Lucas Perez, Canyon Shaw

• TASCO Academic All-State: Calvin Bibeau, Connor Belusar, Connor Knapp, Jack Sihler, Jaxon Swanson, Lucas Perez, Mason Russell, Michael Richardson, Nathaniel Warner, Tate Anderson, York Merrill

• THSCA Academic All-State: Anderson (1st), Perez (2nd), Richardson (2nd), Warner (2nd), Merrill (HM), Knapp (HM), Belasar (HM), Swanson (HM), Bibeau (HM), Sihler (HM).
