Dripping Springs residents and visitors alike will be able to experience the Texas Hill Country and its wineries, breweries, distilleries and restaurants with the Dripping with Taste Trail Pass, starting this weekend.
Featuring up to 50 participating trail stops, the trail will run from April 28 through October 22, finishing with a celebration and grand prize announcement during the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival. Sign up for a free membership to collect points or register for a paid Trailblazer membership to receive double points and discounts at all participating locations. The app will be available on April 27.
The Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau partnered with local company Waypointer Ventures to gamify the tasting trail. Visitors can download the app to find a whole list of participating businesses nearby. Checking in at each Trail Stop is easy with tap points located at the points of sale and other unique spots. Participants simply tap their phone, check-in and then earn points.
“Dripping Springs and Driftwood stops are incredibly excited for this new trail pass to launch. The Dripping With Taste Trail makes it so easy to experience this city with little to no planning necessary” said Samantha Larghe, brand manager of the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau. “This trail will help uplift and support our local businesses in addition to promoting our beautiful city.”
Dripping Springs is home to some of the region’s most recognizable alcohol brands, yet at the same time offers some of the smallest craft distillers in Texas. Find cool, downtown hangouts in the historic district of Dripping Springs, hidden gems tucked away in the hills and off-thebeaten path and even an eclectic, retro-themed tasting room that permeates mid-century nostalgia. One thing’s for sure … no matter which ones you visit, you’ll always be greeted by a smile.
The mission of the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau is to promote tourism and serve as ambassadors to connect visitors with the local community.
