It's been 10 years since the last of the Bounds trio graduated from Dripping Springs High School, leaving forever their mark on Dripping Springs ISD.

Rachel, Elizabeth and Christopher Bounds attended Dripping Springs Elementary, Middle and High Schools, beginning in 1996 — with the last one graduating in 2013.

Rachel, the oldest, graduated fourth in her class in 2009. While at DSHS, she participated in student government, was a Hi-Stepper and ran varsity track, participating in three state finals. Rachel also founded the annual blood drive, the annual Powder Puff game and PALS — all of which are still going strong today. After graduation, she completed her undergraduate degree at Notre Dame University and medical school at Texas A&M University. Rachel is now an internal medicine doctor at Southwestern's Clements Hospital in Dallas. She is married with two twin boys.

Elizabeth, also known as Ebo, graduated seventh in her class in 2011, having served as president of her class for six years in middle and high school. While at DSHS, she created the by-laws for the student government handbook and organized the annual book drive for the library. Ebo also played basketball, ran varsity track and played varsity softball — the latter of which competed for the state championship in 2011. After high school, she completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University and law school (cum laude) at Duke University. She is now a mergers and acquisitions attorney in Nashville, T. She is married and has one daughter.

Christopher, the last of the Bounds trio, graduated in 2013. While in high school, he helped organize school-wide social events and lettered in football, baseball and track. Chris was also on the first-ever football team in Dripping Springs to play in the state quarter finals. Suffering a leg injury his senior year, he tried out for the debate team, making varsity and placing sixth in the state debate tourney. After graduation, Chris received a finance degree from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is now an investment banker for a firm in Manhattan, NY.

Over the years, the Bounds trio hosted many team meetings, sports banquets, award ceremonies, teacher and principal retirement parties, fundraisers and more at their family home in Dripping Springs. They were always available to help with the needs of schools and will always be remembered fondly.
